UPDATE 9:45 PM: Arrowhead Stadium. Police sources tell KCTV5 that a man and his son had gone to their Jeep during the game. When they arrived, they found a man who they say they didn't know sitting inside the SUV. Detectives are working to determine whether the man had broken into the vehicle or was mistakenly in the wrong vehicle.

A firefighter was shot and killed by an off-duty police officer early Sunday morning in downtown Kansas City after the firefighter’s Saturday night wedding.
Kansas City Fire Department Spokesperson James Garrett confirmed that six-year veteran firefighter Anthony Bruno of Kansas City, Mo. was shot around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

A central Missouri coroner says a police chief who was found dead in his home earlier this week had been shot.
The Columbia Daily Tribune reports Randolph County Coroner Gerald Luntsford said Friday that Huntsville Police Chief William Stuck died of a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The 64-year-old chief was found dead around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Huntsville home he shared with a daughter.
Luntsford says it's not known who fired the shot. He says that Stuck was getting ready to go to work at the time, adding that "nothing adds up."
Updated: Friday, November 29 2013, 06:28 PM CST Police shot and killed a man who kidnapped his ex-girlfriend, stole a police car and led them on a chase across three counties. The incident began overnight in Bulverde, north of San Antonio in Comal County. Bulverde police say the 22-year-old man took the woman, 19, hostage at gunpoint from a business. A Bulverde officer confronted them. The man fired at him with a handgun. When the officer took cover, the suspect stole the officer's patrol car.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville Metro Police officer is among four people hurt in a crash on the Shawnee Expressway Thanksgiving morning.
The officer and others hurt were in "stable" condition early Thursday afternoon, police spokesperson Alicia Smiley said.
Police did not release the names of those involved.
The accident occurred after 11 a.m. on the right shoulder of the westbound lanes of the Shawnee Expressway (I-264), between Cane Run Road and Bells Lane.
HUNTSVILLE, Mo. — The president of the Missouri Federation of Police Chiefs has been found dead, and a coroner says the death was not due to natural causes.
KOMU-TV reports Huntsville Police Chief William "Buddy" Stuck was found dead shortly before 5:30 a.m. Wednesday at his home in the central Missouri town.
Stuck, 64, was in law enforcement for more than 25 years. The death was confirmed by the police department, the sheriff's department and Randolph County Coroner Gerald Luntsford, who says foul play has not been ruled out.
Kershaw, SC (WLTX) - A Kershaw County Deputy died early Wednesday morning after suffering a heart attack the day before, according to Sheriff Jim Matthews.
Matthews says Deputy Rob Evans, 50, was directing traffic at Wateree Elementary when he suffered that heart attack Tuesday afternoon, striking his head as he fell.
Evans was immediately attended to by two unknown nurses and Lugoff Fire Chief Dennis Ray, all parents picking up their children at the school, and administered CPR until EMS personnel arrived on the scene.
ISP to patrol for 24 consecutive hours in honor of fallen trooper

Illinois State Troopers throughout the state will patrol for 24 consecutive hours this Tuesday, in honor of fallen Trooper Kyle Deatherage, who was killed on that date last year.
